Steve TateSteve Tate grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he attended the University of Utah and served as all All-Conference captain and strong safety for the football team. At the young age of twenty-one, he married his high-school sweetheart, Savanna. Aftr his son was diagnosed with brain cancer and passed away, he and his wife became strong childhood cancer advocates through the Haystough Foundation.
