Steve RiemanSteve Rieman moved to the high desert- Joshua Tree area of Southern California when he was young and he continues to live there; being a desert local resident for more than 40 years now. Though he has traveled and explored many different places, he lves to call the desert his home. He loves writing, films, literature and art of all kinds. He has sometimes been mistaken for the other Steve Rieman; an amazing artist and metal sculptor; who also lives in the area. Incidentally, they are friends and both support each other's creative endeavors. Steve's author influences for writing still include; Carlos Castaneda, R. A. Salvatore and Richard Adams, among many others. Steve still hikes and explores many places near his home area of Joshua Tree/Pioneertown and uses them as inspiration in his fiction. He spends as much time with his daughters, and now grandson, as he possibly can and cherishes every moment. His ultimate goal, through his writing, is to get people to expand their hearts, thoughts, and minds for better self awareness, which in hopes will benefit the planet and all that are living on it.
