Steve HenleySteve was born in Perth, Western Australia. He achieved a Bachelor Of Engineering (Civil) at University of W.A. and became a Christian in 1984 whilst still studying at University. He met his wife Cathi in 1988. Cathi was born and raised in the wester suburbs of Sydney where she began serving with the Youth for Christ singing band 'Travellers' for two years before she met Steve. They both felt the call to missions in 1988 and so after marrying went to New Tribes Mission Bible College in Sydney. In 1995 Steve and Cathi and their three young boys went to the mountains of Papua New Guinea and planted and established 14 churches with over 500 believers in the West New Britain province. Their ministry was to plant churches and also to translate the New Testament in the local language. Steve and his team completed the Asengseng New Testament in March 2007.From March 2010 to the end of 2019, Steve was the senior pastor at Minden Baptist Church and solo pastor at Churchill Baptist Church from May 2021 to October 2024 and has specialised in foundational chronological teaching in Genesis through to Christ with his special interest being in the end times.
