He is the author of the initiated occult history, Monstrous Cults, A Study of the Primordial Gnosis (1992), and two collections of acclaimed weird fiction, Xenos (1989 and Creatures of Clay and Other Stories of the Macabre (Critical Vision, 2003). He has also contributed articles and letters to various weird/esoteric journals, such as Kaos, Chaos International, Rapid Eye, Nyctalops, Esoterra, Cthulhu Codex, The Lamp of Thoth, Starry Wisdom, and numerous others.
