Stephanie PowerBorn in Paddington London to a devoted single young mother, Stephanie was raised up in Chelsea. As a deaf child she was discriminated as a girl that will amount to nothing. Since young she developed a passion for writing stories just for fun! Studyin at Southwark College and then Saint Charles College Stephanie first wanted to become an Egyptologist but soon ditched studying because of the continuous bullying. In the meantime, she never gave up her passion for writing. Her big dream began in her early twenties where Stephanie fell mentally ill with depression and other mental health problems. She closed herself from the world, and delve into the world of Black Knight Shade based on Ancient Egypt to escape her own misery, and from then onwards the book Black Knight Shade seriously developed. Stephanie step father, from the age of eight had always believed in her and her dream to be an author. At the age of fourteen, he invited her to see Godfrey Smith who was the editor of the Sunday times, and it was then Stephanie was told she had serious potential. For many years, Stephanie tried for publishers but was turned down, and suffering chronic mental health issues Stephanie found that her passion for Black Knight Shade and ancient Egypt pulled her through dark times. She moved to live independently in Notting Hill at the age of 35 where she continued writing. One day she was the bus where her life was about to change for the greater. Austin Macauley publishers emailed her saying they would love to take on Black Knight Shade, and praising her work, she was thrilled. Stephanie continues to write the coming series promising it's only just the beginning of Black Knight Shade that it will continue to grow more exciting for the delight of her readers.
