Stacey R PinatelliStacey R. Pinatelli, PsyD, received her PsyD in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in Emeryville, CA. She completed her internship in clinical psychology at VA NorthernCalifornia Health Care System, East Bay. She is completing her postdoctoral fellowship at Palo Alto VA Medical Center. She has clinical experience working with a diverse population of clients, including veterans, adolescents, trauma survivors across gender identifications, and clients experiencing learning difficulties requesting a neuropsychological assessment. Pinatelli's work with veterans and trauma survivors has provided her with a strong foundation evaluating and treating clients with simple and complex post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and comorbid psychiatric difficulties, as well as experience utilizing exposure-based treatment. She was previously involved in a study that implements hybrid protocols of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), ACT and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and ACT and written exposure therapy for PTSD symptoms, comorbid anxiety, depression, stress, psychological flexibility, state arousal and valence, values-based living, and interpersonal functioning.
