Stacey McGinnisStacey McGinnis was born in Queens, New York and relocated to Florida when she was 8. Her family wanted to escape the frigid temperatures of the north. Growing up in Holiday, Florida she attended Gulfside Elementary School, Gulf Middle School, and Guf High School. Stacey decided she wanted to be an elementary school teacher in third grade, and this was reinforced throughout the years by the numerous teachers who had an impact on her life. Ms. McGinnis attend Saint Petersburg Junior College and then transferred to the University of South Florida, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education.
