Stacey AtkinsonIn 2008 Stacey Atkinson worked at a school for young adults with learning difficulties which is where the stigma of wearing hearing aids became apparent to her. This is when the author decided to write a children's book to eliminate the stigma and suport hearing-impaired children. In 2015 the author studied audiology and became an audiologist in 2017.
