Srila RoySrila Roy is a lecturer in sociology at the University of Nottingham. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Delhi and her graduate work at the University of Warwick. Her research/teaching interests include post-colonial feminis, social movements, violence and conflict, and memory, emotions and trauma studies - many of which take as their starting point the contemporary political history of India and South Asia. She is the author of Remembering Revolution: Gender, Violence and Subjectivity in India's Naxalbari Movement (Oxford University Press, 2012).
