Sreeradha Datta
Sreeradha Datta is a professor of international affairs at the OP Jindal Global University. She is also a Non-Resident Senior Fellow with the Institute of South Asian Studies, National University of Singapore, Singapore. Prior to that, she as director, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, Kolkata and held fellowships with the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, among other institutions. Her recent works include India Bangladesh Bonhomie: 1971 and the Present, edited, (Vivekananda International Foundation, New Delhi, 2023), Act East Policy and Northeast India (Vitasta Publication, New Delhi, 2021), BIMSTEC: The Journey and Way Ahead and edited (Pentagon Publishers, New Delhi, 2022), Bangladesh at 50: Development and Challenges (Orient Blackswan, New Delhi, 2020). That apart, she has written Caretaking Democracy: Political Process in Bangladesh, 2006-
2008 (Institute for Defence Studies, New Delhi, 2009). Bangladesh: A Fragile Democracy (Institute for Defence Studies, New Delhi, 2004), The Northeast Complexities and Its Determinants (Institute for Defence Studies, New Delhi, 2002) and edited Changing Security Dynamics in South East Asia (Pentagon Publishers, New Delhi, 2009) and few other monographs covering Bangladesh, Southeast Asia, Myanmar. She has also published over 160 articles in journals, edited volumes, newspapers and academic websites. Her research interests include South Asia and Southeast Asia, regionalism and cross-border issues.
