He was a visiting professor at Department of Chemical Engineering, Northeastern University in Boston, USA. He is alo an associate professor in the Department of Microbiology, School of Science, RK. University in India. He obtained his B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Microbiology from the Savitribai Phule Pune University in India.
