Sonia StoiaSonia Stoia earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences at the University of the Basilicata in Potenza, Italy on the photochemistry of the Paternò-Büchi reactions under the supervision of Prof. Maurizio D'Auria. Currently, Dr. Stoia collaborates with the Theretical Chemistry Division of the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Evert Jan Baerends, being employed in studies about the development of DFT and the transition metal-ligand interaction. Dr. Stoia is also co-author with Prof. D'Auria of a book on Paternò-Büchi reactions.
