Sonal SaxenaDr. Sonal Saxena received a PhD degree in Animal biotechnology from ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, India, in 2008. Thereafter she joined Indian Council of Agricultural Research as Scientist in June 2008 and completed four month FOCARS training at National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad. After successful completion of training program, she joined ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar and currently she is working as Senior Scientist with the Division of Veterinary Biotechnology, ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar. Dr. Saxena has more than 13 years of teaching and research experience in the area of Animal Biotechnology. Her current area of research includes Oncology, Artificial Intelligence, New generation diagnostics, and vaccines, Biomaterials for reconstructive surgery, Nanoparticle based thermostabilization of veterinary vaccines etc. She has published more than 55 research papers in peer-reviewed journals, has filed 2 patents, authored three books/training manuals and six book chapters.
