Sofia NooriSofia Noori is an Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia, Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy at the Faculty of Education. She is also a PhD alumnus from the department of Social and Political Thought at York University. She recetly received the President's University-Wide Teaching Award (2020) for her praxis at the Faculty of Education at York University. She specializes in the field of refugee subjectivity, trauma narratives and education in Canada.
