Snigdha MisraDr. Snigdha Misra is an Associate Professor at the Department of Human Nutrition, Jeffrey Cheah School of Medical and Health Sciences at Monash University, Malaysia. She is a Nutritionist by training. She is awarded with the Fellow of Nutrition Sociey of Malaysia. Her main area of research interest is in Public Health Nutrition and maternal and Child Health. She is currently working on sustainable nutrition across the life span. Some of her specific research areas are; GDM, micronutrients status, Glycemic Index, Geriatric Nutrition, eating behavior, Pre and Probiotics and metabolic syndrome, amongst others. She is a reviewer for a couple of journals and also has her publications in various peer-reviewed journals. She has been a research mentor and potrays her leadership in Nutrition. She is actively engaged in improving the life of the community through a healthy lifestyle. She is a Life Member of Nutrition Society of Malaysia and Nutrition Society of India too.
