Siobhan MorseBy the time we reach adulthood, most of us have had to overcome and recover from something. Siobhan's story includes not just persevering through, but overcoming and actively recovering from childhood trauma, mental health issues, substance abuse, hoelessness, cancer and most recently, tearing her knee during competition. Siobhan states her purpose in life is to inspire others into action. Using both her personal experience and the knowledge she has gained through education and a career in research and treatment, she works to offer hope and inspiration to anyone who feels stuck inside the circumstances of their life. Currently, Siobhan works in the mental health and substance-use disorder industry. A primary focus of her role is to develop and evaluate programs addressing the opioid crisis and to share the findings with the industry at large. She regularly presents original research worldwide, has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and conducts education within the addiction services network. She is a voluntary adjunct faculty and serves on policy and advocacy groups in Washington DC. In her spare time, she is a CrossFit Masters athlete.
