Shikshaw VermaShiksha Verma is the cofounder, with her husband Vijay K. Verma, of Samanda Enterprises Inc., a company based in Vancouver, BritishColumbia, Canada, primarily involved in project manage-ment and leadership training, and real estate development. She hs been involved incharitable activities and community projects for many years.Shiksha holds a Bachelor's in Education and taught at a high school in India for many years. After marrying Vijay in 1976, she migrated to Canada and stayed home to raise three children. She supported Vijay in all his professional, teaching, and writing endeavors, giving him fresh ideas and helping him develop seminars and keynote presentations for project management conferences in the United States, Canada, Australia, and India.While collaborating with Vijay on this book, she was committed to adding value by ensuring that serious messages and results are delivered through easily remembered and sustained stories and examples. In this book, she included her common- sense approach to lead with purpose, influence people, and create a compelling desire in them to expand their potential and meet their personal and organizational visions.Shiksha Verma is a proven natural project manager and thought--provoking leader. Although she does not have formal designations in project manage-ment, she leads with management and leadership principles in everything she does, from real estate de-velopment to planning and organizing their children's weddings.
