Sherry BarnhartSherry L. Barnhart, RRT, RRT-NPS, AE-C, FAARC, is a fellow of the American Association for Respiratory Care and is currently the Respiratory Care Discharge Planner for Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Sherry has previously edited two textbooks and a cliical handbook on perinatal and pediatric respiratory care. She has also authored multiple textbook chapters that are specific to the care of infants and children. Sherry is active in the respiratory care profession, where she has served in numerous leadership roles, including president of the Lambda Beta Society. During her nearly 40 years of experience in the field of neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, Sherry has maintained an unyielding commitment to provide the highest level of care to this patient population, serving as both an educator to respiratory therapy students and clinicians and as an advocate for obtaining advanced specialty credentials in this unique area of respiratory care practice.
