Sheri CalhounBorn and raised in Philadelphia and Pine Forge, Pennsylvania, Sheri Calhoun graduated from Pine Forge Academy and later from Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan, and received a BA in English. She then earned a master's degree in education fom Cabrini University in Radnor, Pennsylvania. She currently resides in Philadelphia, where she teaches high school English. She is a member of Ebenezer Seventh-day Adventist Church, Philly's Mother Church, where the motto is In the heart of the city, with a heart for the city. Sheri's favorite Bible passage is Psalm 27.
