Shellie HarwoodShellie Harwood, a poet and actress with an MA in playwriting, has written several plays, including Ember Days, and Another Bite of the Moon. She's taught Theatre/Communication and Literature at universities and colleges in Idaho, California, Utah, Tnnessee, and Connecticut. She has performed throughout the country in repertory and summer stock theatres. Shellie recently returned to Connecticut, after writing for a year in Paris. Her poetry has been published in Oberon, Mudfish22 (Box Turtle Press), Sixfold Poetry Summer 2020, and received an award in the 89th Annual Writer's Digest Writing Competition. She has been awarded the 2021 Oberon Herbert Poetry Prize for her poem With My Sister, in a Tornado Warning. Shellie is a member of the Connecticut Poetry Society. Read More Read Less
