She is Registered Clinical Master of Social Work residing in Alberta, Canada. She is a certified EMDR Therapist Consultant/Hypnotherapist who specializes in the field of trauma and has been working in the counselling field for thirty-plus years. She works within her private practice Healing Pathways EMDR Counselling and Consulting, supporting individuals of all ages dealing with early childhood trauma, and ongoing traumatic events. She has devoted her life to experiencing and participating in traditional healing ceremonies supporting self and others. She has applied her traditional knowledge and experiences to support the clients in her practice. In addition, she offers a large variety of workshops teaching an adapted EMDR protocol to support not only the Indigenous/Native American people, but to include first responders, teachers, mental health professionals, parents, social workers, youth workers and children dealing with big emotions.
