Shelley RushentI am a Mum of a now 25 year old daughter, who is 'Pumpkin' in The Adventures of Blue Bear: The Chosen One. This book is the first in a series of books on Blue Bear's Adventures. I've been wanting to start writing these books for over 10 years now butsomething else always seemed to keep me busy. I finally decided that this was the year to make my dream a reality. All the stories are inspired by actual events and Blue Bear is still part of our family 20 plus years on. We have all been on many adventures together and made some great memories. A little more about myself, I've had a small cleaning business for over 30 years and I truly love what I do. Since I decided to write The Adventures of Blue Bear, I was inspired to start my business, Green Apple Publishing. I'm very passionate about my garden and find it a very peaceful place to think and reflect. I treasure spending time with my beautiful Mum who sadly has dementia and has recently gone into care after my dad passing in Oct of 2023. I get pleasure in volunteering at Mums nursing home and spending time with all the other residents.
