Sheila Mughal

Sheila MughalSheila Mughal was born in the mining town of Leigh in what was once Lancashire; North West England. After trying to trace her mother's father (who left for America in the 1920's), as well as hunting down her own fathers long lost family, Sheila becam interested in genealogy from an early age. Several decades later and with the introduction of genealogy software, Sheila took her ancestry back to biblical times, and discovered her Grandmother from almost 4000 years ago was a lady called Tamar, who it seemed had lived a remarkable yet infamous life. More research revealed her families journey, from the Middle East into Northern Europe, as depicted by hieroglyphics in Irelands ancient cairns. Rather than write a book which was little more than a lecture in ancient history, Sheila decided to weave some fantasy into the basis of a true story. Fascinated by the idea of sacred lineage, which supposedly was attached to the line of Tamar, she created the concept of a hidden prophesy worshipped by a secret cult following. Sheila is a qualified Nurse and Midwife, as well as a mother of 3 and grandmother of 4. She presently works as business director selling software to the NHS, and as a new author, "The Lines of Tamar" is her first novel. She has already started writing its sequel, so there is yet more to come. Read More Read Less
