Sheila HeywoodSheila Heywood was born in Leeds and grew up in Yorkshire. She started writing fiction as a young child and in later years wrote stories for BBC Radio Leeds. One of the stories was bought by Anglia Television for Tales of the Unexpected but, after th contract was signed, the series was axed and her contribution never televised. She became a teacher of English as a foreign language in 1987 and moved to Paris in 1990 where she lived and worked until 2013. She now lives in Stockport with her partner Chris and their Border Terrier. Literature, both reading and writing, has always been her passion.
