Shawn JenningsIn 1999, at the age of 45, Shawn suffered a tear of an artery in his neck that resulted in a brainstem stroke, leaving him locked in. He was unable to resume his occupation as a family doctor but found fulfillment volunteering and being active in hiscommunity. Shawn lives at home with the care of his wife, Jill, in Rothesay, NB. He has a speech impairment, trouble swallowing, and paralysis of all four limbs with limited use of his left arm. He uses a power wheelchair for mobility. This is his third book.
