Shashikala AssellaShashikala Assella completed her PhD from the Department of American and Canadian Studies at the University of Nottingham, UK and currently works as a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of English, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. Shehas pulished her academic work on diasporic women's literature in many reputed collections and her debut poetry collection(manuscript) was long-listed for the Gratiaen Award 2019.
