Sharon McLaughlinSharon McLaughlin, PhD, is a Law Lecturer in the Department of Law and Humanities at Letterkenny Institute of Technology, Ireland. Sharon's research focuses on communications law and policy. She was awarded her PhD from the School of Law at th National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG) for her thesis, entitled 'The Protection of Children in the Online and New Audiovisual Services Environment'.
