Shanta Gokhale'Shanta Gokhale' (Translator) (1939) is a writer, translator and theatre critic. Her novels in Marathi, 'Rita Welinkar' and 'Tya Varshi', won the Maharashtra State Award and have been translated by her into English. She has translated several other wrks from Marathi, including 'Kautik on Embers' ('Dhag') by Uddhav J. Shelke.
