Shanna HuberShanna Huber resides in Delaware, Ohio with her husband of over 20 years. She has three wonderful children, John, Joe and Shara. Shanna began her career as an RN in 1995. She went on to further her education at University of Phoenix to obtain her Bacelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). She had a passion for education and again went back to school to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis on healthcare education (MSN/Ed). She is a Certified Case Manager (CCM), Certified Nurse Life Care Planner (CNLCP), Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP), and Certified Care Manager (CCM). Shanna worked in various fields of nursing including skilled nursing, cardiac, trauma, float nursing, nursing instructor, and school nursing. She always wanted to start her own business since she was a little girl. Growing up, Shanna and her best friend Julie would dream about the various business adventures they would have in the future. As an adult, she was passionate about helping seniors and their loved ones navigate the healthcare system and was well rounded in the field of nursing. Shanna opened her Life Care Management business, Ripple Life Care Planning, in the summer of 2015. Shanna also provided life care planning services for litigation purposes through her business. Shanna struggled to find a software system that fit her unique needs in this niche market as a Life Care Manager. Being a problem solver, she hired a developer and developed software specifically for her care management practice, resolving common daily issues. With a passion to help others she decided to sell the software to other Life Care Managers. Shanna launched My Junna Software in 2018, which provides Life Care Managers tools to run their business effectively and efficiently. As Shanna trained both new and seasoned Life Care Managers on the soft-ware, she realized many were in need of mentorship and had a lot of unanswered questions. Many others were struggling with the same things she struggled with. Talking with her friend, Jennifer Crowley, they decided to provide other Life Care Managers a road map in order to become successful in a shorter period of time as well as provide standardization of practice for the field in general. Shanna is passionate about helping others and has a special heart for women. She is on the board of CG Women Empowerment Africa (CGWE), a non-profit that uses the "Dabaree" process to support women in Ethiopia and provides education, support and women empowerment to some of the neediest women in Ethiopia. Shanna traveled to Ethiopia in 2015 with the missionaries of CGWE. She continues to provide support to this organization and volunteers regularly for much fundraising efforts. In Shanna's spare time she enjoys exercising, running, and vacations on the beach. She loves spending time with friends and family. She loves when her children are all home at the same time hanging out, eating great food and playing board games. Read More Read Less
