Shamim RupaniShamim Rupani, much like Samrina, loves creating art projects and baking cookies in her home state of Texas. Shamim discovered her love of working with children during her time as a preschool teacher, but she also noticed there was a lack of diversit in books being read in the classroom. Shamim is excited to share her story of growing up as a mixed kid and hopes that it inspires other children to be proud of who they are. Mostly, though, she hopes children will see a part of themselves in her work.
