Shahryar JafarinejadDr. Shahryar Jafarinejad is an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at Tuskegee University (TU), USA. In addition, he is serving as a Faculty Senate Member (2019-2022) at TU. Before joining the faculty at TU, he worked as a postdoctoral researher at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of California Irvine. He has taught chemical engineering courses at TU, University of Tehran, College of Environment, and Technical and Vocational University (Iran) and supervised undergraduate and graduate students. Dr. Jafarinejad has published 2 books, numerous book chapters, and several peer-reviewed journal and conference papers, and has also served as an editorial board member and reviewer of engineering journals. His research group focuses on sustainable materials, energy and environment, and applying nanotechnology and modelling and simulation tools to solve a variety of problems in chemical and environmental engineering.
