Seth Kwabena AmponsahSeth Kwabena Amponsah (PhD) is an Associate Professor of Medical Pharmacology at the University of Ghana Medical School. He has held postdoctoral fellowships under the AQ1 BANGA-Africa Project and BSU III (DANIDA, Denmark). He has over 13 year of experience in teaching and research. His research focuses on clinical pharmacology (infectious disease and antimicrobial stewardship): prudent use of antimicrobials, antimicrobial level monitoring, and efficacy of antimicrobials in patients. He has experience in population pharmacokinetic modelling, noncompartment pharmacokinetic estimation, and pharmacokinetic evaluation of new drug formulations. He has published over 60 research articles, 3 books, 20 book chapters, and several conference abstracts. He is an Academic Editor for PLOS One and an Associate Editor for Pan African Medical Journal.
