SERGIY NEZHURBIDASergiy Nezhurbida is a researcher in the fields of criminology and history of law at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University in Ukraine. He speaks Ukrainian, Russian, English and German. He graduated in 1998 from the Faculty of Law of Chernivti University in Ukraine. In 2001 he received the PhD. in Penal Law and in 2015 he was awarded the LLD in Criminology. His current research focuses on the aetiology of crime and the history of law. He teaches courses in criminology, criminal victimology, theories of crime causation, criminal-executive law and international law. He has been a leader and a member of numerous research teams in national and international projects.
