Sergio de Los Santos VillalobosDoctor in Science with a specialty in Plant Biotechnology and Environmental Microbiology. He is a research professor at the Instituto Tecnológico de Sonora- Sonora, Mexico. He is the founder and Director of the Laboratorio de Biotecnología del Recurs Microbiano (LBRM) and Colección de Microorganismos Edáficos y Endófitos Nativos (COLMENA). His research topics are focused on the study of the genetic and functional diversity of microorganisms, plant-microorganism interactions, microbial inoculants, and soil conservation and phytogenetic resource.
