Scott Linehan Scott Linehan was born in St. John's. His father's work required frequent moves around Newfoundland and Labrador, however, and Scott prefers to call Port aux Basques home, the place where he lived the longest. Scott has been an educator in Newfoundlnd and Labrador for 25 years, including positions as teacher, principal, consultant, college and university lecturer, and Program Specialist for the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District. Scott earned his PhD in Educational Leadership in 2013 and enjoys reading, writing, public speaking, and consulting on research in the area of student achievement.
