Scott A NelsonFor over 30 years Dr. Scott Nelson has led product development, product management, and entrepreneurial business growth as a technology and business leader. He is presently Executive Technical Advisor and Board Member for TheraTec, Inc. as well as th Founder and CEO of Reuleaux Technology, LLC, which advised companies and startups on strategies and new-business development in IoT markets. Previously Scott was the Chief Product Officer and Vice President of Product at Digi International (NASDAQ: DGII), a leading global provider of business and mission-critical Internet of Things (IoT) products and services. Prior to Digi he was the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at SkyWater Technology Foundry, where he led strategy, growth, and new-offering development. He began his career at Honeywell in the Corporate R&D center he spent the next 15 years at Logic PD as CTO and EVP. At Logic PD he worked with hundreds of companies on business strategy and new product introductions while growing the company's Product Development and Products business to one of the most well-known and largest design and engineering service organizations in the country with design centers in Minneapolis, Boston and San Diego. As technology evangelist Scott is connected to Silicon Valley and at present is a member of multiple tech start up advisory boards and a leading startup accelerator, the Alchemist Accelerator. In 2014 Scott lead the development of a strategic partnership between Logic PD and TheraTec, a digital therapy company, and is the acting senior technical advisor of TheraTec. He serves on the Advisory Boards of Multi-tech Systems, Keewi, QSense, TheraTec, Logic PD, and various other startups. Scott received an HW Sweatt award while at Honeywell and was named a Titan of Technology by the MSP Business Journal in 2015. He holds a Ph.D. in applied and engineering physics from Cornell University, a doctoral minor in business administration from the Samuel Johnson School of Management at Cornell University and a B.A. degree in physics and mathematics from St. Olaf College.
