Saville Ian KushnerMy interests fall under the umbrella of Democracy and Children′s Rights. For many years I have been a member of a transatlantic college of theorists and practitioners of educational evaluation developing and testing democratic, case-based approches to inquiry.

Most recently, I applied these interests to the field of international development while on a long-term secondment to the United Nations as Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Adviser to UNICEF in Latin America & the Caribbean (2005-2007).

My interest in democracy also finds expression in studies of curriculum, learning, professional policy and action, and in advocacy of rights-based methodologies.
