Sarah ShabazzDr. Sarah ShaBazz-Ugwumba received her PhD in Education with emphasis in Special Education from Walden University January 2019. Her dissertation title was Teachers' Perception of Common Core State Standards on Students with Learning Disabilities. Sarh is a professional educator and has teaching credentials in both general and special education. She has over 20 years of experience teaching students from kindergarten through Master's degree university level. She is a full time Child Development professor at a California community college. Dr. ShaBazz is the founder of a mobile tutoring company that provides educational support to students of all ages. She is also a civic leader and works in the community in programs that support women, their families, the community, and awards scholarships to high school girls.
