Sarah L BlumSarah L. Blum is a decorated nurse Vietnam veteran who earned the Army Commendation Medal serving as an operating room nurse during the height of the fighting in 1967. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Seattle University and her Master's from U W. At age 80, Sarah retired after more than 34 years healing trauma. Between 2006 and 2012, Sarah interviewed over 58 women veterans and is the author of Women Under Fire: Abuse in the Military about the culture of abuse toward women in the U.S. Military.
