Sarah Joy ThompsonBorn and raised in the Philippines to an American father and Filipino mother, Sarah Thompson spent her childhood and teenage years doing missionary work with her parents and siblings. At a young age, Sarah developed a strong interest in art and writig. Her interest in writing impelled her to move to San Antonio to pursue a BA degree in English at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Her poems have appeared in Sagebrush Review Volume XI, the Enigmatist, and 100 Thousand Poets for Change San Antonio: Women SPEAK!, 2018.
