Sarah DowlingSarah Dowling is a poet, a scholar, a parent, and a teacher. She is the author of three poetry collections, Entering Sappho, DOWN, and Security Posture (which received the Robert Kroetsch Award for innovative poetry), as well as three chapbooks. In adition, she has written the first scholarly study of contemporary poems that use more than one language: Translingual Poetics: Writing Personhood under Settler Colonialism. This book received an honorable mention for the American Studies Association's Lora Romero First Book Prize.
