Sara ThurmanSara and Wayman Thurman had both recently retired, and they wanted to share their passion for Jesus with others. So, they began to create. Wayman built birdhouses, bird feeders, and other useful creations. Sara painted. From watercolor to acrylic, sh responded to a divine prompting to become an artist. Sara's inspiration comes from her time in nature and growing up on a ranch in southwest Texas, her time in daily worship, her love of Monet and the Impressionistic styles, and inspiration from the artists like DeAnn Hebert among others on Pinterest. Wayman and Sara loved working together in their mission serving art business helping each other thrive in each of their own skill sets. After nearly 35 years of marriage, Wayman passed away in January 2020. Sara continues painting and writing in her grief process of losing My Man as she fondly called Wayman. She misses their specific niches and skillsets in their servant based leadership interactions that kept their thriving small business excelling. Sara is now in the process of learning more about the accounting aspects of the business as well shipping her paintings all over the country. Sara is currently working on two books to be released in the summer of 2020-the companion Journal to Small Beginnings: the Journey to the Impossible and a journaling style book sharing authentically Sara's first 100 days of grief, living without her life partner and companion, Wayman. A third book is in the works to be titled 27,000 Miles - the story of Sara and Wayman's marriage to be released before the end of 2020.
