Sara MitriDr. Mitri, PhD in Computer and Communication Sciences from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, was a postdoctoral fellow at the AS Center for Systems Biology, Harvard University, USA; and also in the Department of Zoolog, University of Oxford, UK. Her research has always been at the intersection between the computational sciences and biological evolution. Currently she is the head of Mitri lab, which focus is on the ecology and evolution of simple microbial communities composed of a handful of species in the lab. Dr. Mitri is also tenure-track Assistant Professor at the Department of Fundamental Microbiology, at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. She has published in several high impact journals.
