Sara ColeridgeSara Coleridge (1802-1852) was a British writer, editor and translator born in Keswick, Cumberland, England. She was the only daughter of English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge and his wife, Sara Fricker. As a child, she was greatly influenced b her uncle whose vast library exposed her to the Greek and Latin classics. As an adult, she embarked on a literary career starting with translations such as Account of the Abipones in 1822. This was followed by lighter fare inspired by her growing family.
