As a survivor of trauma and abuse, Ms. Jarvis is intimately familiar with adversity and understands the work involved in healing and moving forward to create a beautiful and fulfilling life. She loves seeing the peace that comes as women start to believe in themselves and come to understand the power they possess in creating joy-filled lives. Sandra's history is fraught with physical, sexual, and spiritual abuse. She also has personal experience with fighting severe depression, being the daughter and mother of LGBTQ family members, marrying a porn addict, being a cancer survivor, dealing with infertility and miscarriage, as well as other major medical issues. In 2014, Ms. Jarvis was in an ATV accident that severed her right hand. Through five years, twenty surgeries, and multiple other medical procedures, her hand was reattached and partially repaired. Her journey of healing from that injury brought about healing in every area of her life and inspired her to write the book, Severed: A Memoir of Hope and Healing. Sandra also enjoys interacting with readers as a speaker and presenter. Her messages of hope and healing are relatable and uplifting, leaving audiences feeling inspired and motivated to face life with positivity and grit.
