Samuele GabrieleSamuele Gabriele is an Italian-American poet. After enduring a rough childhood with a problematic father, he searched for ways to escape and eventually found love in poems. At the age of 12, he approached this form of expression following his first hartbreak when his best friend kissed his dream girl. Born and raised in Italy, he moved to the USA and away from his dad at 14. He turned to writing in English, and his art has since flourished. He is en route to getting a B.S. in Legal Studies at the University of Southern California and continues a life of hard work and discipline, emblems of his strong athletic background. Giorgia Gabriele, illustrator of this book and sister to the author, is a creative young woman who is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at SFSU. Known as a talented artist to friends and family, she has used art as a form of therapy since the young age of 11. Among her creative outlets, she designs intricate mandalas, draws cartoons, and has a YouTube channel (YouTube/Instagram: @giorgia._.gabriele). Giorgia cherishes helping others deal with their struggles and is happy to brighten someone's day through her artistic expression.
