Sameer ShrivastavaDr Sameer Shrivastava received his PhD degree in Animal Biotechnology from ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, India, in 2006. He is currently working as Principal Scientist at Division of Veterinary Biotechnology, ICAR-IVRI, Izatnaar, India. He has over 20 years of teaching and research experience in Animal Biotechnology. His current area of research includes synthetic peptide biology, cancer biology, immunobiology, AMR, biomaterials, and biosensors. He has published more than 80 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and authored four books and training manuals. He has handled more than 20 research projects as Principal Investigator or Co-investigator. He has to his credit two granted patents, and three others have been filed. He is member of the prestigious American Peptide Society, Indian Peptide Society and other professional bodies and is recipient of the prestigious ICAR Lal Bahadur Shastri Young Scientist Award, Alfred Lingard Award, and Pfizer's Veterinary Award.
