Sambit PanigrahiDr. Sambit Panigrahi is a Professor of English at Ravenshaw University, Cuttack. He holds a Ph. D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and his Ph. D. dissertation is on eminent, modern British writer Joseph Conrad. Dr. Panigrahi is theauthor of international critical books like Patriarchy against Nature/Woman: A Green Study of Joseph Conrad's Fiction, and Voices from Africa: The Colonization/Decolonization Dialectic in J. M. Coetzee's Fiction. He is also a translator, and his translated works are Ajivaka's Laughter and The Dance of the Ghost and Other Stories. He has published many scholarly articles in journals of international repute including Italian Quarterly, Italica, Quaderni, South Asian Review, The Explicator, Notes on Contemporary Literature etc. He has presented papers in international seminars held in various reputed institutes including University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, USA.
