Samantha Rae LazarSamantha Lazar is a teacher and writer living in North Carolina. She teaches her students everything from history and language arts to how to be a good human. She studied English and secondary education with a concentration in creative writing at Applachian State University. After two decades in the classroom, Samantha decided to delve deeper into the study of how people learn. She has a Master's in Education from Meredith College. She is at home wherever she is with her husband and son.As a child, Samantha knew she wanted to be a writer after connecting with the characters in Harriet the Spy by Louise Fitzhugh and Daphne's Book by Mary Downing Hahn.
