Samantha Jane HillSam is a bioinformatician with a keen interest in advancing individualised cancer and rare disease treatments. Living in Bridgend, Wales, her hobbies involve cars, cross-stitching and guitar playing. Despite having such a promising life ahead of her,which was evident from an early age, alcoholism very nearly destroyed her future chances of success. A first-class degree, a distinction-level master's degree and being head of Mensa Wales did nothing to deter the hold alcohol had on her.
